The Intech Thermoluminescence Dosimeter Reader (Models 1301 PC and 1302 DC) is a cost-effective instrument with a number of advanced features using state-of-the-art components and design techniques; meeting every need in the fields of dosimetry and research. The Model 1301 PC uses a photon counting mode to provide a very high sensitivity for low dose measurements along with high stability. High frequency techniques are used in this model to minimise the noise and maximise the signal-to-noise ratio. The model 1302 DC uses DC current mode for measurement of the photo Multiplier Tube (PMT) anode current to enable a wide range of six decades of doses with high linearity. An User-friendly software written in dot net, compatible with Windows Xp, 7 & 8, is used for the operation of the Reader. The progress of glow curve and the temperature is plotted online during the readout.
